Race Forecast

The New York City marathon weather is usually right around perfect. There have been a few cold years here and there that make the waiting prior to race start difficult, but generally the temperatures hover in the mid 40s to low 50s. This year is no exception. The race will start in the mid 40s and climb its way closer to 50 degrees as the day goes on. Layer up while you wait in Brooklyn and be ready to ditch that extra apparel once you get moving. Remember that the first mile is uphill over a bridge - so you'll warm up fast, as long as you don't take it too fast. It'll be a great day to PR if you've never run NY before.
